Celebration 2020 Musical Line-Up

SCOTT CARTER

Musician, Song Writer, Producer

Performing daily from 10 am – 1 pm on the Amphitheater stage

Scott Carter is a multi-faceted musician. His primary instrument is guitar, but he also excels as a drummer and bassist along with his tenor vocal talents. Scott has a self-produced album:  The New Breed Band (featuring Scott Carter). Scott Carter & New Breed has opened shows for Hootie & the Blowfish, UB-40, Stanley Clarke, Jesse Colin Young and others. Scott’s second project: Scott Carter “Living in the Moment.” is a solo endeavor where he has recorded most of the instrument tracks and all of the vocal tracks.

MICHAEL ANTHONY GAGLIARDI

Latin Euro Guitarist

Performing daily from 10 am – 5 pm at the SE quadrant of the event

With European flair, skill and execution, Gagliardi creates an atmosphere of elegance wherever he performs. Michael has recorded several albums under his own name and many with his past group Penny University, Michael has delved into many genres of music including Soundtrack, Instrumental, Indian, Country, Rock, Orchestral, Japanese, Italian, Flamenco, Jazz, and Latin. He has opened for such icons as BB King, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Aaron Neville, and Buddy Guy.



MELTDOWN CLM

Classic Soft Rock/Smooth Blues Band

Friday, March 6, 2-5 pm on the Amphitheater stage

Meltdown CLM band members are locals Cat Pedersen (vocal and percussion), her husband Larry Pedersen (vocal and guitar) and his brother Mike Pedersen (vocal and guitar). The genre of Meltdown is rooted in imprint of the nostalgic music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s -- periods that were filled with strong feelings and intense beliefs in the political, social and spiritual changes taking place. Their unique sound is a mixture of acoustic and electric textures, strong vocals and instrumentals, and a wide variety of stylistic influences spanning more than 50 years.

THE ART OF SAX

Southern California’s Premiere Groove Band

Saturday, March 7, 2-5 pm on the Amphitheater stage

The Art of Sax, led by Will Donato and Eddie Reddick – each respected recording artists in their own right. Heavy on saxophone, bass, and smooth vocals, the band performs music from all genres including pop, Motown, soul, rhythm and blues, hip-hop, funk and contemporary jazz.



Will Donato is a dynamic showman, saxophonoist, composer, and producer with multiple solo albums, several international tours, and a bounty of festival dates to his credit. Will's radio single Infinite Soul, released in January 2019 reached the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard Smooth Jazz airplay chart.

Eddie Reddick is an incredibly skilled bass guitarist player, vocalist, song writer and producer with five solo albums including his latest, Bass Matters. He has been working the L.A. area music scent for over 30 years and has recorded and performed with such notable artists as Chaka Khan, Billy Cobham, Roy Ayers, Bill Withers, and Wayne Henderson of The Jazz Crusaders.

FAULTS OF ANDREAS

A Desert Music Collective

Sunday, March 8, 2-5 pm on the Amphitheater stage

To close out La Quinta Art Celebration 2020, the vibrant FAULTS OF ANDREAS guitar trio of Jimi FITZ, Jimmy Palmer and Sergio Villegas based in the Coachella Valley will bring their exquisite musicianship to perform an eclectic mix of sounds that include Americana and Latin rhythms. The entire FAULTS OF ANDREAS Band will turn up the Rock and Roll energy for the final hour Grand Finale when Drummer Jeff Bowman and Bassist Mark Fry join them. The group has been described as a hybrid of Johnny Cash, Neil Young, and the Gipsy Kings.
