Since 1952, the Sausalito Art Festival has been recognized as one of America's premier outdoor art festivals and is a winner of countless industry awards. Set on the waterfront in Sausalito California, the Festival is attended annually by thousands of visitors. It is “the place” to spend Labor Day weekend and enjoy fine art, food and wine.

After the 2019 Festival, the Foundation elected to take a year off to plan to address the shifting arts and entertainment landscape and to reinvent itself. This year the Sausalito Art Festival Foundation decided to partner with SCOPE Events, LLC under Managing Director, Paul Anderson and Event Director Kathleen ‘Kat’ Hughes to ensure this iconic festival continues to exist.

The goal is to attract patrons seeking the highest quality of visual arts and crafts, the finest wines and beverages and to experience an upscale dining experience which will enhance the original legendary festival. The focus is now dedicated to the visual arts, gourmet food and premier California wines. 200 of the nation’s finest art and craft artists will be juried into the event and will be announced in June.

The venue remains at the premier Sausalito waterfront location, Marinship Park, which was built for the festival, with vie of Richardson and San Francisco Bays.
